Persuasive Writing Packet

Use this persuasive writing packet to guide students through a step-by-step writing process to develop a persuasive text about a change or improvement they would like to make at school.  Students will review the elements of persuasive writing, brainstorm their ideas and complete drafting, editing, and publishing for their friendly letter to a school administrator.  The packet includes approximately 2 weeks worth of of daily lessons and activities.  Second grade standards are listed on the back cover but these materials could be used in multiple grade levels as well.
