Narrative Writing Packet

Use this biography writing packet to guide students through a step-by-step writing process to develop a narrative text about the best day ever.  Students will review the elements of expository writing, brainstorm their ideas and complete researching, drafting, editing, and publishing for their piece about their version of the best day ever (a day they experienced or a fictional day they hope to experience).  The packet includes approximately 2 weeks worth of of daily lessons and activities.  Second grade standards are listed on the back cover but these materials could be used in multiple grade levels as well.
