Informational Writing Packet

Use this informational writing packet to guide students through a step-by-step writing process to develop an informational text paragraph.  Students will review the elements of informational writing, brainstorm their ideas and complete pre-writing, drafting, editing, and publishing for their piece describing the steps for how to play a game.  The packet includes a pacing guide for 2 weeks of daily lessons and activities.  Second grade standards are listed on the back cover but these materials could be used in multiple grade levels as well.
