Autobiography Project

Use this autobiography packet to guide students through a step-by-step writing process to develop their own autobiography.  Students will review the elements of autobiographies, brainstorm their ideas and complete drafting, editing, and publishing for their autobiography.  Additionally, there are fun activities such as creating a family crest, decorating a family tree, and creating an “about the author” page.  The packet includes approximately 3 weeks worth of of daily lessons and activities.  Second grade standards are listed on the back cover but these materials could be used in multiple grade levels as well.
